12th Installment of 16000Cr Released On Flagship PM-KISAN Scheme By PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released on Monday 17th October 2022, the 12th installment of PM-KISAN Scheme to the 11 crore eligible farmer’s account. It is a financial transfer direct to the farmers account.

The amount of released fund worth Rs.16000 crores. Under the scheme Rs 6000 is direct transferred to the eligible farmers account with 3 installment, each Rs 2000 for 3 months. Total amount of the PM-KISAN Scheme will be expected to cross Rs 2.6 lakh crore.

The Prime Minister Modi said, ” PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is an example of how small farmers benefit from the use of modern Technology. Since the launch of this scheme, more than Rs 2 lakh Crore has been directly transferred to the bank account of farmers. For small farmers who are more than 85% of the Country’s farmers, this is a huge support.

The scheme was launched on February 2019 by PM Narendra Modi but is being complemented with effect from December 2018.

Who Are The Eligible Farmers For PM-KISAN Scheme

All Government scheme has it’s own criteria which based on the parameter of beneficiary. For this scheme small farmers who are Indian and all land holding farmers families, who own the cultivable land on his/her name is eligible.

PM Modi also inaugurated the “PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022” on Monday 17th October at the Indian Agricultural Institute in New Delhi, declared by PM Office.

According to an official release, PM said addressing the mob, “Kisan Sammelan is means to make the lives of farmers easier, boost their capability and promote advanced agricultural techniques.”
