Tulip Festival of Kashmir 2025 is ongoing in Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden which is largest tulip garden in Asia. The Spring Festival continues from March 15 to April 20th, where ocean of blooming flowers wins millions hearts since decades.

Since Kashmir is famous with it’s enchanting natural beauty, tulip festival added a new color burst throughout the valley. This festival celebrate the blooming season of beautiful tulips which is the best one of its kind.
Kashmir behold a grandeur royal fame, which justified truly when a walk down these parallel rows of colorful blooms, just awesome ! The largest tulip garden in Asia, Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden which is one of heart throbbing natural resources, hosts the Kashmir Tulip Festival every year.
More than 60 varieties of tulips grew on this heaven of 30 hectares of land, attract nature lovers from all over the world every year. The added benefit is that the location of garden at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range, offers a mind blowing panoramic views of the Dal Lake, which is surrounded with snow capped mountain peaks through out the region.
New Tulip festival of Kashmir 2025 offers tourists something special like every year. The garden decorated with more additional wide range of new flowers like daffodils, hyacinths, narcissus and more amenities for tourists like Wifi, more water body, fountains, guest rooms and much more.
Tourists can collect handicrafts, swales as souvenir and from added stalls, can enjoy Kashmiri delicacies with local essence. Tulip Festival is part of Spring Festival of Kashmir which started after the ice melted, the valley started awaken with cultivation time.
Another lesser known festival is Almond Bloom Festival which is also started between 15th of March to 20th April. This year it is ongoing now and inaugurated by CM Omar Abdulla on 5th April and will be continue till 13th of April at Badamwari Garden, located in Srinagar at the foothill of Zabarwan range.
The festival is a cultural ode to Kashmir’s agrarian heritage. They traditionally cultivated almond trees in the valley, and their early bloom celebrated as special significance for farmers and locals. The festival stands not only as a white and pink almond blossom painting landscape but also strengthen their relationship with nature and land.

The festival celebrated with rhythm of music, dance, local crafts and traditional cuisines. Local Folk and artists perform Kashmiri songs and dances under a canopy of blossoms, reviving age old traditions. Artisans showcase local handicrafts like Paper works, pashmina shawls, woodwork, jewelries offering an evidence of artistic richness of Kashmir among Tulip Festival of Kashmir 2025.
Tourists also enjoy traditional dishes of the valley like Rogan Josh, Gushtaba, kababs, Kashmiri Polao, Shahi mutton and various sweet dishes. Sitting under blooming almond trees with sipping kahwa, the traditional saffron green tea is mesmerizing experience which cherishing for long.
The Tulip Festival and Almond Bloom Festival which is part of Spring Festival, is the essence of cultural and traditional richness of the valley. Tulips are collected from Holland and restore in Shiraj Bagh garden.
